Introduction of Reverend Pastor Louis Dufresne Ceide
Reverend Pastor Louis Dufresne Ceide is a man of faith, a dedicated servant, a passionate educator, and a committed spiritual leader.
Born in Saint-Louis du Sud, Pastor Ceide grew up and was raised in Port-au-Prince. From a young age, he invested himself in church life, becoming a member of Bellevue Salem Baptist Church. Following the departure for glory of the late Pastor Raphaël Lozama, around 1994-1995, he was established as associate pastor of the said Church.
Driven by a passion for teaching and theology, he then went to Gonaïves, where he fully committed himself to theological training. It was in this city that he also served as senior pastor of the Bethel Baptist Tabernacle Church, located at Avenue des Dattes.
In parallel, he filled a major role in Port-au-Prince for more than two decades, as dean of the Theological Institute of the Heart for Haiti Foundation, from 2001 to 2024, training several generations of God's servants. He is married and father of two children.
After leaving the Bethel Baptist Tabernacle Church, he founded, by the grace of God, the Evangelical Community of Praise Church, located at Avenue des Dattes, Ruelle Évangélique #26 bis, in Gonaïves. This pastoral work marks a major stage in his ministry.
On the academic side, Pastor Ceide graduated from STEP. He pursued studies in social communication at the Faculty of Human Sciences of UEH, and also defended a thesis in legal law at EDSEG Gonaïves (UEH).
Today, Reverend Pastor Louis Dufresne Ceide continues his ministry in Canada, where he serves as associate pastor at the Mission Evangelical Assembly of Christ, alongside Reverend Pastor Francener Alézy.
Despite all the challenges encountered, Pastor Ceide remains a faithful preacher of the Gospel, an authentic Christian, and above all, a humble servant of God, dedicated to the advancement of His Kingdom.
